Here is a picture of a foundation cracking away from the garage slab portion of the house.  The hillside was giving away, causing the foundation, and the house to go with it. The estimated repair price tag was at least $50,000.  Significant damage has already been done.  They unfortunate owners will have a very difficult time selling this property.
